Acceptable Use Policy

This policy sets out how you may use Personal Ledger (acc.keyscalelab.com). It exists to keep the Service secure, lawful and reliable for everyone. Breaking it may lead to suspension or termination of your account.

1. Use it for its purpose

Personal Ledger is a personal bookkeeping tool for recording your own finances. Use it to track your income, expenses, transfers and debts — by hand or by voice.

2. Do not

• Use the Service for anything unlawful, fraudulent, or to launder money or evade taxes.
• Attempt to access other users' data or any account that is not yours.
• Probe, scan, or breach security, or bypass rate limits and access controls.
• Overload the Service — no automated scraping, bulk requests, or denial-of-service.
• Reverse-engineer, resell, or white-label the Service without written permission.
• Upload malware, or content that is illegal, infringing, or harmful to others.
• Abuse the voice/AI features to generate or process content unrelated to your own bookkeeping.

3. Fair use of AI & voice

Voice transcription and parsing run on limited compute. We may apply reasonable usage limits and, on paid plans, fair-use thresholds to protect availability for all users.

4. Your content & accuracy

You are responsible for the data you enter and for keeping your own records. The Service is a tool, not professional accounting or tax advice.

5. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and take action — including warning, limiting, suspending or terminating accounts, and reporting unlawful activity to authorities where required.
